A note about transportation in Puglia: Uber is not operational in the region and private cars can be expensive and must be booked in advance. We recommend renting a car for your visit.

By Plane:
There are direct flights from New York JFK Airport to Bari Airport operated by Neos.
Alternatively, as Puglia offers two main airports, Bari and Brindisi, you can also fly into Brindisi. The flight is about an hour from either Rome or Milan. Once you arrive, it’s recommended to either rent or hire a private car.
Brindisi airport is 40 minutes drive to Torre Maizza, Bari airport si 60 minutes drive. We recommend booking your flight as soon as possible: August is peak season in Italy, and the Puglia region is one of the favorite destinations for Italian and foreign travelers.

By High-Speed Train:
The nearest railway station is Fasano.
You have the option to fly into Rome, Milan, or any major EU/UK hub and proceed to Fasano from there.
You can catch a super-fast train to Bari Centrale. Rome has several options for departures to Bari Centrale, and the journey usually takes ~4 hours. Once in Bari, you can either catch a local train to Fasano or rent a car to finish the last leg of the trip. A car service is also possible.

By Car:
If you have some time and prefer to explore Italy at a leisurely pace, you can rent a car at the Rome Airport and embark on a scenic drive to Fasano. This option takes ~5 hours. (If you arrive through Milan, we would not suggest this option!)
